Today I played around with wordle.net.
Check out the cool links to see what I created!
Of course, on unit 2 nights, my mind is always in another place...

I AM...

I AM

I AM RESTLESS at night, filled with fear and anxiety. Laying worried in bed with no one beside me.
I AM PROUD for a man so selfless, without fame. He puts your life before his without knowing your name.
I AM HONORED to be a part of a unique family, much larger than most. Not united by blood, but a bond much more close.
I AM COMFORTED by other firefighters’ wives. Knowing they share, the same style lives.
I AM AWARE of the intense danger that waits. The sound of each call carries an unpredictable fate.
I AM CONSISTANT in ending each conversation the same. Realistic that all it takes is one angry flame.
I AM CERTAIN not to fret about all the little things, For you never know what tomorrow brings.
I AM GRATEFUL for glimpses of God shining bright. As they eagerly tackle the fire’s sparkling light.
I AM THANKFUL for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Bravely giving their life is worth no price.
I AM SCARED for my children so innocent and free. Oblivious to the risk their dad’s job carries.
I AM HOPEFUL for support of our courageous loved ones, As they risk their lives for strangers with a chance of not coming home.
I AM PLEASED to be the WIFE OF A BRAVE Firefighter!

Welcome

As the wife of a firefighter and an avid writer, I thought a blog would be a wonderful way to share my thoughts and feelings. What a better night than tonight to start? During dinner my husband was called back to the fire station to cover the rest of a 24 hour shift. Of course, he just got home this morning from his usual shift, leaving yet another evening to be single yet married parent.
